Great people, trustworthy leadership, uniquely awesome culture, and the empowerment to take ownership of your work life and make it wonderful and balanced.

Cons

ThoughtExchange gives people a lot of trust and autonomy, empowering employees to make decisions that impact others and the company, to be proactive about career growth, and do things like set own schedules and take holiday time (something they give more of than any place I have ever worked). All of these are pros, not cons, but employees need to be able to manage the stress that comes with this level of trust.

TE has a very healthy culture thanks to, I believe, a strong People team that is not afraid to face criticism, take action and try different things

Cons

in my personal experience the biggest challenge is pay. All my peers that I talk to with the same level of experience with similar responsibilities make significantly more, in some cases even double, which is crazy to think. Healthy culture is a thing that I value hugely but compensation is the strongest factor for job selection for me, so it is a struggle of me wanting to stay vs go somewhere where I would be paid way more.

The company cares about its employees. Very supportive, laid back work environment. Interesting product. Good people.

Cons

Engineering team generally is a bit disengaged and a strong culture around building software is lacking. Leadership in Engineering is either way too involved or very distant, not consistent.
