Pros
Co-workers are awesome and despite being spread out, the community feels very close and supportive. Can work from home or office, Can work almost anywhere in BC, Flex-time Interesting work - leadership are genuinely open and eager to hear new ideas and for people to work on them Very healthy corporate culture - leadership is open to feedback and responds in a genuine way. Currently scaling so the company is going places and it is exciting Opportunities for internal advancement A place where you can think big and deliver a product to customers that does exactly what it says it will. TE makes a difference.
Cons
There are two layers to the workforce - full-timers/permanent employees who are "in" and casual employees who seem to be kept at arms length. The policies for compensating casual employees can be a bit sketchy and it totally depends on which team you're on. The benefits could be better but they do their best - having vision benefits would make a real difference. The workload can be extremely high - leadership are aware of this and are actively trying to address work-life balance so all employees can take advantage of the wonders of flex-time.
