Thoughtspot is set to become the new gold standard in the BI/AI industry. The company has a lot of great talent and extremely smart people. The culture is great at the individual contributor and mid/senior management level. Salaries are great and benefits/flexibility is also outstanding.

Cons

Too many recent org changes, specifically at the C-suite and VP level. This has created a lot of uncertainty and fear amongst employees. Previous leadership made some really big mistakes that the company is now having to deal with and overcome - everything is slower now. Product has way too many defects and previous leadership did no care enough/invested in current customers -- got completely rid off Customer Success at some point leaving all their clients on their own.

The leadership makes no practical effort to boost employee morale besides conducting useless AMAs. With five layoffs in the last two years, the looming threat of being laid off any day adds to the uncertainty. Despite no appraisals this year, they still expect employees to give 100%. The toxic work culture and ineffective leadership drive people away, impacting product quality, and leaving new joiners to fix legacy issues. Despite promising IPO dreams for the past five years, even the leadership lacks confidence in them now.
