Pros

Good work culture People take pride in their values and culture. I could notice very little hypocrisy here. People are friendly. Good work life balance (sometimes depends on the client too) Places a premium on quality Relatively flatter hierarchy. In practice too People listen to you no matter how junior you are in the industry Easier and faster project switch

Cons

As many reviewers say not good for laterals. Probably true. People don't really get the hang of pair programming. People who know the right person get to travel abroad to better offices like US UK, etc more frequently. I've seen this myself. The only qualification for the person was that he was expert at talking. And very skilled at that. No doubt with little experience in the industry he had contacts with big people. He go the benefits too Politics not as bitchy as some reviews suggest , certainly much better than Deloitte (Where its hypocrisy, sycophancy, and other ills all combined, ) and other consulting firms. But people do try things and succeed too. Last word - thought works not as bad as the reviews suggest but some serious issues need to Be tackled

Pros

-None If you are an engineer. -Best Place to work for an HR or Admin

Cons

-People Leader betrayed employees. Only the hopelessly naïve would mistake an HR person to be an employee advocate. People Leader is a top-ranking company executive who gets paid to oppress employees, not a friend of the working man or woman. Workers, by definition, are oppressed to some degree. -The company was hiring at the same time it was marching people out -Management kept people who were well-connected, including obvious incompetents, while marching out good employees

Pros

Good set of skilled people to hang out with Work-Life Balance Snacks and free lunch. Good place to start your career. No manager to report to. Conferences/geek nights to get involved in.

Cons

This company is a no-go for laterals. Operations team biased to "long term thoughtworkers". Doesn't give any heed to the background of laterals when they come in and treats them as second class citizens when compared to other Thoughtworkers who have been for a while. Chairman is on an aggressive incubation of left wing communists into the company and asks open discriminatory questions like "how many brahmins are there in this office". Hinted at bringing in reservations while hiring. The kind of projects that come now are no more like before and needs no smart people like they want to hire. Most of the top Indian management/Senior devs are already on their way out with indifference's with the Stalinist Chairman. Compensation is sub standard. Few of the PM's have their own coterie of people they give priorities w.r.t travel etc. Blurry career path after being a Lead Consultant.
