Pros

No more than 40 hours a week work. Usually a lot less. Everything is documented and there is a procedure. Great product market fit.

Cons

Technical implementation is mediocre. Lots of tech debt. Velocity is extremely low and there is no interest in improvement on either a technical or procedural level. Great place to rest and vest, but dangerous otherwise. After a year or two you'll struggle to find another job as you'll have accomplished next to nothing.

Marketing is a strong competency for ThousandEyes. The team across the board is strong and the company has valued and invested in marketing. There are now good opportunities for synergy with AppD and others within Cisco.

Cons

Obviously, things will have changed now with the acquisition so there is some complexity with that sort of change.

Pros

The company has a great product whose demand continues to rise with time. Filled with great people who are willing to help you every step of the way. Great manager is another cherry on the top. There are plenty opportunities for career wise growth considering the tech-stack being used here.

Cons

The company is still in midst of transitioning from a startup to settled one and is in this awkward phase right now but plans have already laid out and are in effect for various facets. Documentation is another aspect that really needs attention for various services which is something being attended to.
