Turned into corporate America

Pros

The people that work there are great!

Cons

When I started there was a third of employees they have now and they cared about their employees. It has since turned into typical corporate America. They have directors and managers put on the puppet show of caring but not one of their actions back this up. No advancement at all. If you apply for another job making more money the pay rate suddenly drops dramatically and you are questioned and have multiple people trying to talk you out of it. Bottom line, they just want the money and are beyond caring about anyone but upper management. We're late on doing my annual review and wouldn't even back date it for the months they had drug it out for, unacceptable.

Pros

They do an amazing job of hiring great people that are great to get along with, and honestly, I was very surprised about how well this company does this. Greg Thrasher is a great person and someone to look up to as a leader. The values of the company are sincere, very clear, and they take them seriously.

Cons

It's hard to be positive when you are constantly worried about your job status. Multiple members of management and other staff were "not a culture fit" or "were let go after multiple discussions". It's hard to keep a good culture when people have no clue what is going on with a revolving door of employees. For sales, be prepared to spend $1,000 on an initial investment in your new job.

Once a Great Company to Work For

Pros

Pay is good, benefits are pretty average for a company of their size. There are a lot of great people who work for Thrasher, and I've worked on some great teams there. Thrasher products are the best out there. Hands down.

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement. Several layers of management have been added recently to make it a much more top-heavy organization. Management preaches hiring people who are 'culture fits', but has destroyed the culture that the company once had. Has a much more corporate feel rather than the family owned business it once did.
