Often short staffed, low pay, patients with very high acuity

Poor pay No staff No breaks

Toxic management, hospital is run poorly, patients and staff are constantly in danger. Management has a superiority complex and you cannot go to them to for any help or support. The pay is not worth the mental, physical, and emotional pain working here causes.

Increasingly dangerous working environment, poor patient care, bad pay (if you're a tech)

Management is not helpful at all. Pay isn't great for the amount of work you will have to do. Don't expecct everyday to be "normal" or go as planned, always expect the unexpected.

If you are full time and have a personal issue that comes up to where you need to go PRN status...then HR is very difficult toward you when you want to come back FT.So they will find reasons not to let you go back FT, when you need benefits for your family There is alot of nepotism, favortism, and coldness here. If you are not one of the favorites they will put you anywhere and not have a permanent unit to work on...so basically you will float. Also alot of racism here..kept on the low or "hush" among management..Basically they need new people in management..Pay is very low for MHT and nurses

Subpar pay; was paid $9+shift diff with a bachelors degree in psych. Unsafe working conditions; too little staff on units with high acuity and high number of patients. No security- often coworkers are harmed trying to seclude or restrain a patient.
