Pros

Working at Thrive Global has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with smart, passionate teams who care deeply about both business performance and human well-being. There’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around using AI to democratize access to behavior change and expert-level coaching, which makes the work feel cutting-edge and meaningful. Thrive strikes a rare balance: we move fast and iterate constantly, but we also respect boundaries, recovery, and taking time to reset. That makes this a sustainable place to do ambitious work — a rarity in the startup and health tech worlds.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, priorities shift quickly. This environment is best suited for self-starters who are energized by building things from the ground up and don’t need rigid structure to thrive.

Pros

Money. Brand name. Interesting field and problem to solve.

Cons

Toxic. Lack of investment in employees. Remote teams are highly differentiated from those who are onsite. Small leadership team has been in place from inception and does not care about any other employee at the organization. Everyone runs and scrambles anytime Arianna says anything. Leads to finger pointing, blaming, unnecessary reprimands for employees who were just doing their best in an ambiguous and high-demand situation. None of the senior leaders have ever been a part of a SAAS tech organization prior to this, and it shows. Its complete and utter chaos with large over promises to clients with zero infrastructure to deliver on any of it.
