Pros

Freedom of flexibility to determine work schedule. Great volunteer opportunities to help people and their communities.

Cons

Heavy on pushing life insurance and high commission annuities. They say they want you to do what's best for a client, but the revenue schedule incentives the opposite. Proprietary mutual funds with high expenses and mundane returns are the only available investments.
