Pros

I currently work at Thriveworks as the Senior Client Care Coordinator, I have worked at a lot of places and Thriveworks is one of the best I have been at so far. I've seen the negative reviews and I will say that sometimes people leave negative reviews on places when they don't leave on the best of terms and will leave it at that. I came to work here in July 2015 and I am so happy that I did. The staff and management here are wonderful. I cannot say enough about the friends and awesome people I get to work with on a daily basis. I work in the scheduling department but I have great friendships and work relationships with people in both our billing and credentialing departments. We communicate well here and when there are mistakes or even misunderstandings (which are rare) we can figure out solutions and can move on with our work. Here at Thriveworks we understand that we are expected to work hard as well as we play hard. We wouldn't be able to enjoy the perks like; champagne friday, pizza friday, or any of the other events or parties we may have if we didn't work and deserve them. Sometimes we do get busy but that is because we are growing rapidly as a company every year. That is to be expected. There is not a job on this planet where you don't have to work at your job and still expect to be rewarded. The culture here as far as employees is wonderful, management really does care about making sure their employees are taken care of. They listen to any concerns we may have or suggestions (which of course have to be reasonable) and do act on them. I personally have made a few suggestions or comments that have actually been brought up to our CEO and upper management. I enjoy speaking to all of them because I know they listen and appreciate me as I do them. THe main reason I wanted to write this review is that I have never been respected as an employee before as I have been here. Recently major health issues with one of my family members had been putting an enormous strain on me and trying to juggle being a caretaker for them and working was becoming harder to do. Management, our CEO and my coworkers (in all departments) have rallied around me in a way I never expected. They have offered to do everything from, help me shop, to cooking meals and cleaning my apartment and washing laundry even to help me walk my dog or transport my family member. Not only the emotional support my supervisor actually changed my schedule to help me manage the changes in my life better. Now how many places would do that for their employee and anytime I need to be late or take a long lunch to go to appointments with him as long as it does not complicate anything for my team (which is my concern not my manager. I make sure I never make it harder on them because they are amazing to work with) I am allowed to take the time and make it up. Once again who would allow that? Some places would force you to use paid time off...I am allowed to make my missed time up. But If you want to know what it's like to work here all I can tell you, bottom line, is if you do your work, and do what you are supposed to, Thriveworks is a great place to be. We get reviews once a year and raises if we are doing well! It can be faced paced some days and some days are slower, however if you are willing to learn and if you are a team player, please come join us!

Cons

We get busy and that can be stressful from time to time, but that's to be expected because we are growing so fast. But we handle it and move on...not really a con, but its the only really "con" i could think of.

The fish tank gets dirty occasionally and we take turns cleaning it, but we all love the fish.

Pros

Great people and environment. The admin team is very knowledgable, understanding and easy to approach. The communication between the employees are spectacular. It is a great team vibe and a learning experience.

Cons

Sometimes there may be an overload of work, but it's not a bad thing. It happens everywhere. You just get it done.
