No professional development. No foresight with regard to retaining talent and opening up further opportunity for engagement. Sadly, no matter the pretense they're just another bodyshop.

Pros

There is a lot of exposure to carrier-grade equipment. However, you may not necessarily get to work with it. There is a lot of process and procedure-type work and you will not be in the trenches on a daily basis unless the specific project calls for it. Basically, you're at the mercy of the client's whims.

Cons

Work changes often and you can be easily switched on/off projects.
