Administration driven and faculty input is ignored or over-ridden. Many times the faculty and staff are blamed for circumstances outside their sphere of influence. Little emphasis on research or scholarship for faculty.

Tiffin creates an environment where students expect an A in every course, just for doing work regardless of whether the work deserves it. Department Chair sided with students who complained they deserved higher grades. No academic rigor expected. Largely felt like a pay-for-degree university. Pay is low but no real prep work required as courses are already designed.
