Management needs to allow a quality product to be released

Pros

Product has potential, and a good percentage of the employees work towards excellent results

Cons

Upper management does not allocate sufficient time nor energy towards a complete product. Too often deadlines are unreasonable, so major components are not fully implemented at time of deployment. There is currently insufficient time and energy dedicated to up time on hosted services, nor is there an actual plan in place to implement a monitoring solution.

Left due to poor decision making

Pros

Lots of great ideas, and joined two companies together to position themselves to take over the marketplace. Pay was fair. Industry average. All locations were great, and the people were pleasant to work with. Good startup feel/culture, and a really agile environment. Nobody ever wanted for technology tools, or anything like that. All tools that you said you needed to do your job were made available.

Cons

Nobody was willing to execute on the ideas. They lack the technical expertise to actually implement anything that they wanted to. VC bankers trying to run a technology company is a sure fire way to torpedo any kind of productivity. The senior management wanted to make big promises, and then when it came time to follow through with it, it fell short. They will want you to work hard, and put in blood sweat and tears, however not deliver in the end. Horrible values overall. Promised the moon, and then could not / would not deliver.

Avoid like the plague

Pros

- There are good opportunities for growth since there is huge turnover. However, you need to be ok with chaos and working with sub-par tech.

Cons

- HR is non-existent. I heard from the HR my first day and then my last day. - ELT is on a power trip - my whole time at Tillster, there was maybe 1 all-hands meeting. I literally had no idea about - # of employees, how the company was doing, what the strategy was, what is coming down the pipeline clients wise, employee turnover - nothing. Very hard for someone to do their job if there is no company-wide communication. - Honestly, I dont know how the company has survived thus far. Very chaotic, some parts of the tech platform is bad and nothing unifying the employees.
