Pros

Great company to jump start your career whether just starting out or seasoned senior. Very fast paced and dynamic workplace where you'll never see the word bored. Teams are generally small enough to allow you to perform multiple work in different areas such as back end, front end, and database management on different servers and platforms.

Cons

Requires highly motivated individual who doesn't mind weekly and sometimes daily change of priorities. Assume responsibilities due to lack of leadership and guidance. The path to success is not always clear.

Room for Improvement but Overall Great Place

Pros

I think this is a place where a software developer can get lots of great experience, not just in coding, but also in the overall software development lifecycle. The work-life balance here is also quite good. As for the people, most everyone is great and the atmosphere can also be quite fun.

Cons

Downside can be the lack of forward movement in certain code base improvements. There's lots of maintenance work as well as opportunities for enhancements, but the effort to make significant redesign and refactoring is stalling.
