Pros

I loved the startup aura for some time. It was a good learning place and meeting great people. Great place to learn how to not run the company! Great place to see how somebody's: VC etc. money being spent. If you work hard and nobody plays politics then it is a good place to grow and leave.

Cons

Fish rots from the head down. Imagine having 8-9 supervisors over the time of your employment. Every new boss one wants to make changes- not everyone knows what they are doing or needs to be done. Department budget? What is that? Company meetings? Accountability?
