Great coworkers, but corporate is demanding and strict.
Pros
Tilly's is an amazing work environment. Your coworkers will become some of your best friends. Starting out, you will either work under selling time or workload and, depending if you like working with customers or merchandise better, the job is generally not that difficult. The managers are able to act like managers and direct the employees without being condescending or bossy, but they still take an interest in your personal life and well being. Everyone employed there is caring and motivated and that makes the job feel less monotonous.
Cons
The only time things become stressful and crazy is when corporate gets demanding. They often criticize us for having good relationships with each other. It makes sense to be careful of favoritism among managers and employees, but having friendships with one another only makes things run smoother. We are consistently chastised and questioned about our relationships with our coworkers which creates some tension.
