Fast-Paced, Educational, and Fun!

Pros

-Everyone was friendly, even upper management -Great environment & culture -In-store managers & sales associates were awesome -Easy to learn -New/different tasks everyday (visual, operations, T&D) -Accrue PTO fast -Flexible schedule (compared to most retail companies)

Cons

Not too many but if I had to choose: -No over-time allowed -Micro-management for everyone -Visual merchandising requirements were a bit over-bearing -Takes a long time to be promoted within -Every now and then you get a DM or SM that has too big of an ego but that's anywhere you go

Getting to wear what you wanted; not so strict on dress code. Easy to communicate with workers with walkies.

Cons

Competitive hours. Very few people on the floor to help during peak hours. Had to push for sales.

- Learn the basics of selling, a CRUCIAL element of business or any profession, in general. - Cool Store Manager. - Learn about the basic buying habits, psychology, and routines of potential prospects (if you pay close attention).

Cons

- Half of the assistant managers were horrible to the people worked beneath them. - Manager & assistant manager plays favorites, thus, the others don't get any hours, even with high selling numbers.
