Pros

Incredibly smart, kind, and talented teammates who genuinely care. Unfortunately, their value is often overlooked in a chaotic and unstable environment.

Cons

Recent reorgs have resulted in promotions of individuals lacking relevant experience, leading teams without the necessary expertise. Favoritism promos. Company morale feels like it is at an all-time low and leadership has shown little willingness to acknowledge or address it. Executive turnover is frequent, with a new CEO almost every year. The most recent leader seems especially disconnected from both product and people. High-performing, experienced employees are leaving due to the declining work environment. The new health insurance plan offers significantly worse coverage, negatively impacting employees. Compensation is no longer competitive compared to industry standards. Sad to see this amazing company not be what it used to be when I first joined many years ago.

Pros

- Colleagues were super nice - Free Lunch on office days - Benefits are amazing - Internal events are fun

Cons

- Leadership is horrible, they want to be cool and tapped in culture, but when you try to do so they deny your ideas or it takes months to convince them - Huge Lack of diversity, especially for black people - Leaders only want to do their ideas, but they're not good at all - A lot of turnover - When layoffs happened, leadership was nowhere to be found. Once we found out, their lack of empathy showed their true colors. They laid people off via webinar.

Pros

This company used to be a fun place to work, it’s a unique product with unique problems to solve. IC’s are talented and overworked, if you’re looking at this as a potential option for your next role…don’t if you value your own physical and mental health.

Cons

Executives don’t use the product and are disconnected with the experience. Constant ring of executive back scratching and referrals leaving gaps in competency. Constant workplace harassment that HR turns a blind eye to. If you respect yourself don’t work here (until the C suite changes out, which it will since Tinder can’t keep their C suite for more than a year).
