Pros

If you're a responsible employee, flexibility in your work-life balance is there.

Cons

1) Some managers and leaders on teams are afraid they're going to get demoted and replaced by new hires. People fear that they're going to lose their jobs every day, they work not knowing whether or not they're going to be there tomorrow. 2) While financial performance seems solid, employees feel none of that. The more we hear about good things happening, it seems like the less we are treated well.

Pros

I've been at Tinder for over 2 years now and it's been an amazing experience and an incredible journey! It's by far the best company I've ever worked at with great perks, smart people and continual growth opportunities - The people (collaborative, fun, motivated and people I enjoy coming to work with everyday) - The company genuinely tries to make Tinder a fun place to work and spends a lot of time and money on the employee experience - Amazing company holiday parties, events, happy hours and summer parties! - Catered meals for lunch and dinner and an insane spread of every snack you could think of - Wine/beer on tap -Unlimited PTO/ flexible working hours - Modern office that is decorated better than my own apartment - Still has fun perks/vibes of a startup, but is a more mature established company with resources - good compensation and strong upside on stock - good benefits/401k - opportunities to grow and take on new challenges for those who are hungry and eager for more responsibility

Cons

- Tinder doesn't have a set remote wfh policy. It's very up to manager discretion/some teams shy away from remote work, while others can work remote anytime. Would be nice if there was a more flex remote policy in place so everyone could take the same liberties

Thanks so much for sharing your review and what you love about Tinder - we are sure you are also a contributing factor of what makes Tinder a great place to work! Thank you as well for the feedback regarding a work from home policy. That is something that is very much on our radar and we are looking to address it in the future.

Pros

brand is known so easy to explain what you do networking across different brands

Cons

-company leadership is inexperienced and inconsistent. In the last years few years there have been 4 CEOs and 3 CMOs and more. The current CEO is a figurehead and really fake. She's clearly never run a company before and lagging badly - there is no product leadership now - hasn't had a CPO in over 6 months, can't seem to find one - turnover is crazy - toxic work environment, lots of internal backstabbing, spotlighting of favoritism etc - DE&I and woke PR initiatives are taking the company hostage. DE&I conceptually is complicated, but their objectives make no sense and are not proportional or reflective of society. PR chomps at the bit for any little story they can get, often launching stories before the product is even shipped - HR is awful -they like to make fluffy statements but don't care about anyone
