      Pros

      Small company size with highly intelligent and experienced individuals who are able to collaborate and express ideas in an open and inviting environment. This company is going places and it's getting there fast! Just one visit during their open house events and you'll see the difference between Tintri and other companies in the bay area. They also throw frequent and fantastic parties and social events for the employees. :)

      Cons

      Not really a con if you're in it for the right reasons but the company knows how to properly manage it's resources which is great for it's current status as a pre-ipo company. In the long run, this could mean great return and longevity for its employees.

      We're tempted to throw a party to celebrate this review... but you're right, we also know how to manage expenses. That's why Tintri has been named one of the top 11 pre-IPO enterprise technology companies.

      Decent compensation, many positives but product is not fully matured for enterprise, mission critical applications

      Pros

      Great customer support, product management and engineering always willing to support field sales teams. Lots of talented people in all areas.

      Cons

      Way too focused on IPO instead of solidifying product and building sound business.. Lower managers lack team building and interpersonal skills with their direct reports.

      Yes, it's true that when you're growing as fast as Tintri, an IPO can be an occasionally distracting shiny object; but the average Tintrian is a lot more motivated by the opportunity to shake up the storage market. The comment about the product being "not fully matured" doesn't jive with reality. Tintri is growing 100% YOY and customers include 6 of the Fortune 15 and more than 20 government agencies. That's a group with very high expectations, and they've awarded Tintri a 94 point Net Promoter Score, which would seem to imply our product is having a huge, positive impact.
