      The working environment is very energizing!

      Pros

      The people are kind and open. The office is open and energizing. The perks are beyond amazing. I don't think there is a beverage option not available in the mornings. Best of all is the support and genuine caring that is displayed in hard times, I was overwhelmed by how supportive this company is in everything they do.

      Cons

      The activity level is beyond crazy, and sometimes overwhelming. However, the support provided in busy times outwheighs the activity level.

      Thank you for the great feedback. The 'balance' mentioned in this review is really important. Yes, there's a sense of urgency and at times things are overwhelming... but yes, your colleagues are kind, open and supportive. Thanks in part to our strict 'No Jerks' policy at Tintri, there's very clear recognition that we're all in this together.

      Pros

      Tintri is mature startup. The company has clear goals and objectives. You get do exciting projects and learn something new everyday. Smart and friendly people who are always willing to help. They provide free lunch on Monday, breakfast on Wednesday and wine and cheese on Fridays.

      Cons

      There is no cafeteria. They do however get food trucks everyday except Mondays.

      You had us at "exciting projects". We just held our end-of-term Intern BBQ earlier this week and as the interns described their experiences the recurring theme was "wow -- Tintri gave me so much responsibility!" We're all about creating opportunities for people to take ownership of high-profile, high-impact projects.

      Great workplace, friendly people

      Pros

      The people are really, really friendly and incredibly smart. One of the people I worked with developed the original RAID system. Also, there is zero company drama or any BS like that. They went out of their way to make sure the interns felt at home, and took us to great restaurants and fun offsite activities like laser tag. The pay was also significant, as they are doing very well compared to their competitors. Amazing company to work at.

      Cons

      There isn't a whole lot to do at the office. There are company hikes regularly, but I'm not a super outdoorsy person so I didn't go on any of them.

      We recently moved into a new (bigger) space with a fitness room, game room and onsite bootcamp & yoga. But as this reviewer points out it’s important to get out of the office too; so, we added a shuttle that zips employees to-and-from Castro Street and the restaurants and stores of downtown Mountain View. We’ll keep looking for more activities that strengthen our team culture.
