      Fantastic at first but that quickly changes for the worst.

      Pros

      Innovative technology that places Tipalti at the top as it relates to players in the Global AP space.

      Cons

      There is absolutely zero leadership within the Inside Sales team. Along with zero leadership, there is a lack of basic respect and EQ from the top towards employees as human beings. I would never have thought in a million years hard-working individuals would be referred to as “soft” and “cry babies” (which is putting it nicely) by those who are supposed to provide mentorship and guidance. There is a culture of back-stabbing from higher-ups who completely disregard you as both an employee and person when they can no longer manipulate you into doing their dirty work and have only selfish interests in mind. Not very close in proximity to public transportation. It would be nice to have monthly public transport stipend for those who don’t live nearby.

      I am sorry about your experience. We've made leadership changes and I am certain that we are in a much better place now. To help us identify areas we need to improve on early, we started using CultureAmp (along with other tools) to gain insight into the perspective of the wide team on how well do we perform, so we can improve as a team.

      Pros

      Tipalti is the type of organization that other organizations strive to be. The culture is amazing, there is a ton of opportunity for those who take advantage and the organization is dedicated to developing their employees. Since I’ve been here there have been multiple learning sessions conducted by outside resources that have been great. The most valuable learning has come on a weekly basis. We have sales meetings where stories are shared from senior salespeople on how they won deals and their approach to closing business. There are also weekly open office sessions where everyone in the sales organization gets in a room with our CRO. We get to bounce ideas off him and get his insight into how he would handle different scenarios. We have the best solution on the market and the value we bring to our customers is tangible. We have a 99% customer retention rate so everyone can sell with confidence. They provide lunch 3 times a week.

      Cons

      The snacks provided could be more healthy. They don't have 401K matching.
