Pros

Close to home, that could change at a moments notice because the company shuffles techs around every month. Nice equipment if you're lucky enough to be in a new store.

Cons

SERVICE TECHS ARE NOT PAID FOR TIRE WORK!!!! If I would have know that from the onset I would not be working for this company. They also cut tire tech hours three to four times a year and expect the service techs to cover the busy times, not paying labor for tires and claiming tire work is included in the measlely hourly rate they so graciously pay us. They say you can make a lot of money here, that is possible of you're here literally from open to close Monday through saturday, basically no free time. Fleet discounts come straight off of our labor times, hits the service techs pocket much harder than the company. They over staff shops with service but run the bare minimum with tire techs, and they wonder why business is down.

Pros

You will get full time employment and they will put you in a position with high expectations. You will get to go to a two week "training class" where they tell you the company line and upper management's version of life.

Cons

You work on salary they say in based on 52 hours but in reality you work 65 to 70 hours a week. When you do the math your pay is about 9 or 10 dollars an hour. Yes you get bonuses and spiffs but to receive those you have to surpass by more than 10% of the prior years sales and do work on your own time. You have to do classes on line through venders in order to get spiffs and this has to be done on your off time. Inventory is to be done after hours or on Sundays when you are to be off and it does not matter you are over or short inventory they dock you at retail price from your pay for every item over or short. They have no place to sit or take a brake and if you are caught sitting even after 13 or 14 hour day you can/will be written up. So in short if you want work for peanuts on your feet for 13+ hours this is the place if not move on.... I am looking now along with every one else.
