Thank you for your review. Chattanooga is a newer market for us and it is busy! Our recruiting team works to keep our stores at the optimal staff level to support its customer volume. As new stores start to ramp up their customer volume, the recruiting team ramps up their staffing needs. High pressure sales pushing products has never been how we go to business. We adhere to the Tire Discounters “Do The Right Thing” vision (established in 1976) AND the Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association, Motorist Assurance Program Pledge of Assurance to Customers (established in 1994) which promises to provide written recommendations for repairs that are explained and based on system failure, improved system performance or preventive maintenance according to accepted industry standards. These standards are built into all of our programs and are required for us to maintain our status with the Motorist Assurance Program. Thank you for your time with Tire Discounters.

Very stressful employer

Pros

The coworkers are usually great, and employee pricing makes any car repairs a great deal.

Cons

Everything else. Massive Micro-Management on the regional level. Policy updates make the rules for the job ever-changing. There's never enough staff on a per-store basis. Upper management cares little for employee satisfaction, Hours are usually open to close on a 11 hour work day. Employees are overworked and underpaid. Many competitors pay better.
