Pros

Good work experience, good coworkers

Cons

Will work you into the ground. Say goodbye to your family. Also staffing is a joke. Not uncommon to see one person up front and one in the back.

Thank you for your review. We know working in retail can mean long hours, but it’s important for us to be there when our customers need us. Most Tire Discounters locations are open M-F 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8-4. Employees work five day work weeks and are always off on Sundays (we’re closed). We take pride in delivering outstanding customer service so stores are staffed to meet customer demand. Thank you again for the review. Your feedback is important to us and we’d like the opportunity to address your concerns. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner or hr@tirediscounters.com so we can learn more.

Pros

Paid holidays, decent pay if you work 50+ hours a week.

Cons

Long hours unless you are a tire tech or sales associate. They try anyway to mess up your monthly bonus so they can get away with not paying you. We have had 5-6 different regional managers in the last 2 years. No training what so ever.

Thank you for your review. We take pride in our existing training programs including centralized or regional training classes and pre-paid ASEs. But we agree with you, we love training and want more of it too! Work is underway now to expand and enhance our training program with more frequent classes and a wider variety of training topics and resources. Be on the look-out for information coming soon. We know working in retail can mean long hours so we can be there when our customers need us. That’s why we offer a five day work week, and we’re always closed on Sundays so that you can have guaranteed time off with your family. Our bonus program is based on clear goals and is very lucrative! We want our employees to be rewarded as company sales grow. If you feel your bonus is not correct, please reach out to HR immediately.
