Pros

People you work side by side with.

Cons

Grossly understaffed stores. A corporate revolving door of employees. You are a number, and replaceable. Just ask a regional. You are told to own you’re business, when you have no control over hiring firing or any access to a pnl report. Constantly having bonuses taken from counter staff due to tech errors. Which is ridiculous because they transfer in problem techs from other stores you have no control over.

Thank you for your review. Working in retail means working evenings and weekends. We’re a family-owned business, so we understand that quality time with your family is important. Tire Discounters stores are closed Sundays, so our employees are guaranteed time with their families. Just like our techs are incentivized to focus on quality, our sales team is incentivized to focus on delivering outstanding customer service. With no cap on how much you can make, your income will grow as your store grows, regardless of whether you are in sales or a technician. We’re glad you’re a part of the TD family and want to address your concerns. Please reach out to HR@tirediscounters.com so we can learn more about your experience.

As a family-owned company, we understand the sacrifices you make to work for a retail business, so we offer five day work weeks to allow our employees quality time with their families. We're glad you're happy with our pay, benefits, and home office support, but we always want to get better. If you have ideas on how we can continue to improve please share them with your HR Business Partner.
