Take the good with the bad

Pros

Money is decent. Always off on Sundays. Lots of opportunities.

Cons

Prepare to work hard 55+ hours a week. Staffing is always an issue as turnover is high. Company has grown rapidly and corporate office is having growing pains, expect issues to not be resolved and a general lack of communication/answers to questions from corporate office. 3 years ago it felt like a family working together. Now it just feels like being a cog in the wheel.

Pros

The people on this team are the best in the business and are like family to me. I started as a Tire Technician and was very fortunate to have some amazing mentors that taught me valuable lessons that helped me become a better worker, better team mate and better mentor to others as my career has advanced. The experiences and mistakes that I have made have taught me so much that I have been enabled to teach others and help them grow to become more successful. The people I work with are some of the most caring and committed folks I have ever met and proud to consider them my family.

Cons

Although we try really hard every day to be the best, we do make mistakes. When we do, our team is tasked with immediately identifying what went wrong and quickly implementing new changes to rectify. Our fast paced industry of Automotive repair can get frustrating from time to time, especially when dealing with "grudge" purchases such as tires and car repair. Customers often times come in upset with car problems, bolts sometimes break, wrong parts get delivered, and other issues arise leading to an occasional frustrating day. Retail can be demanding work in general. With that said, folks that genuinely want to help customers and help their team succeed do great things in our organization and get promoted fast.
