Pros

Being off Saturdays and Sundays

Cons

They want to to lie, cheat, steal and rob people for a living. There are "Business meetings 3-4 days a week that either make you come in early or leave late. Unprofessional using "FBombs and swear words IN BUSINESS meetings.. Just nasty language. They mislead you about your pay, lie to get you to walk in the door and then won't pay you when it's time to get your bonus. I was told that they can withhold it for various reasons even if you earned it. Mgmt compared himself to God during a business meeting and denied it after 25+ people heard him. I tried to speak w/ HR about it - No call back, no exit interview, on customer service, no employee relations, no mediation and best of all.. No pay per my guarantee.. CROOKS

Pros

Sunday’s off. Paid holidays off. Being able to take time off with family and to do things I had missed at other jobs. Pay is decent but you have to work a lot to make good money. I typically work 50+ hours a week if not closer to 60

Cons

Long hours Needs to value employees the way they say they do A lot of micro management lately from higher up. Cutting hours for hard working employees primarily tire techs. With the new way of scheduling we have to more than double our goals or we have to cut hours. It will cause people to leave. Bonus structure changes and no one really knows how the bonus is calculated I highly do not recommend this job if you’ll be a tire technician. If you are looking to be a service tech. Good money can be made with long hours. If you are looking at management you will be working long hours and be doing everything from selling , inventory, recruiting, and working on cars. Be prepared

Thank you for leaving a review. As a family-owned and operated company, treating our customers and employees like family is a central piece of our company culture. We are glad to hear you have had more time to spend with family - that’s why we offer a 5-day work week and are closed on Sundays! Working in retail means being there when the customer needs you and we understand this can mean some days are longer than others. Our pay plan is designed to be the best in the business, including both base pay and monthly incentive bonuses. We’d like the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please reach out to HR@tirediscounters.com or your HR Business Partner.

Pros

Paid holidays, decent pay if you work 50+ hours a week.

Cons

Long hours unless you are a tire tech or sales associate. They try anyway to mess up your monthly bonus so they can get away with not paying you. We have had 5-6 different regional managers in the last 2 years. No training what so ever.

Thank you for your review. We take pride in our existing training programs including centralized or regional training classes and pre-paid ASEs. But we agree with you, we love training and want more of it too! Work is underway now to expand and enhance our training program with more frequent classes and a wider variety of training topics and resources. Be on the look-out for information coming soon. We know working in retail can mean long hours so we can be there when our customers need us. That’s why we offer a five day work week, and we’re always closed on Sundays so that you can have guaranteed time off with your family. Our bonus program is based on clear goals and is very lucrative! We want our employees to be rewarded as company sales grow. If you feel your bonus is not correct, please reach out to HR immediately.
