Pros

We are adding new stores every year. Hiring in the home office to support the growth has added a recruiting department, expanded the IT department and the store support team. You are encouraged to provide insight using your experience and skills.

Cons

It's retail and it's fast paced. Moving fast isn't a con for everyone, many thrive in this environment that never has a dull moment.

Pros

The coworkers are usually great, and employee pricing makes any car repairs a great deal.

Cons

Everything else. Massive Micro-Management on the regional level. Policy updates make the rules for the job ever-changing. There's never enough staff on a per-store basis. Upper management cares little for employee satisfaction, Hours are usually open to close on a 11 hour work day. Employees are overworked and underpaid. Many competitors pay better.

Okay place to work, always understaffed.

Pros

TD is a pretty honest company. While they do want you to up sell, they encourage you to be open with customers about their needs and only sell what would actually benefit the customer.

Cons

ALWAYS understaffed. Even though they encourage you to be honest, no action is taken when you're not. As long as numbers look good they don't care. Also, don't let talk of spiffs and bonuses excite you too much.
