Thank you for the five-star review. We're honored you've chosen to make a career with Tire Discounters. As a family-owned company, we understand the sacrifices you make to work for a retail business, so we offer five day work weeks to allow our employees quality time with their families. We're glad you're happy with our pay, benefits, and home office support, but we always want to get better. If you have ideas on how we can continue to improve please share them with your HR Business Partner.

Micro managing & lack of advancement

Pros

They will give you as much overtime as you could possibly want since they are always so far behind and short staffed.

Cons

If you are good at what you do they won't let you move positions because they are afraid your team will fail. The keep adding jobs on more than what your job description is and provide no additional compensation. The micro management is so bad they have spent millions on things they scrapped months later.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. It’s important to us that all TD employees feel valued and are fairly compensated for their contribution to the business. Our stores, both new and old, are valued equally and receive support to ensure their success. We’re honored you’ve chosen to work for Tire Discounters and want to ensure we continue to remain your employer of choice. If you don’t feel as valued as you truly are to us, please reach out to your HR business partner so we can directly address your concerns.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Working in retail can mean long hours; however, we work hard to ensure our employees are fairly compensated for their time on the clock. As a family owned business we know that quality time with your family is important. Our stores are closed every Sunday to guarantee our employees quality time off with their families. Store staffing levels are set based on demand, but it sounds like you’re not getting the time away that you need. Please reach out to your Director of Retail Operations or HR Business Partner so we can discuss ways we can address your concerns.
