      Up and fired everyone and then didn’t reach out to ANY of those people first when they started rehiring. Ridiculous.

      I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience at Toast. The pandemic presented unexpected changes to our workforce and many others in our industry in early 2020, and we had to part ways with many talented Toasters. We were grateful to be able to welcome many employees back over time, and we continue to offer support to any former Toasters.

      A fast paced company that cares.

      Pros

      Toast is a company that truly cares about its employees. The work is demanding and challenging, however all leadership levels care about the wellbeing of their employees. A fair compensation package, including many benefits like mental health, as well as a rewarding customer base make Toast an amazing place to grow your career.

      Cons

      The workload can be challenging working with clients under pressure. Onboarding customers is not a. standard 9-5 role, however we have enough autonomy to work with each customer to mold the schedule into something that works for us as well. That same level of autonomy may be challenging for some individuals as well.
