      Pros

      Met some incredible people during my time at Toast. All of whom were hardworking and dedicated. Company and culture as a whole were great but overtime, felt like it lost its identity.

      Cons

      There was no work/life balance, at least in the services department. You were asked to go above and beyond, for little reward, especially when it came to compensation.

      Unreliable industry - very recssion proof - 50% of company got laid off. Sales culture isn't very serious company is kind of like a college environment can be hard to focus

      Toast Rewards Hunger (good and bad)

      Pros

      Toast is what you make of it. It rewards the bold and casts out all else. If you can stomach stepping on colleagues to get ahead then you will reap the benefits.

      Cons

      Very competitive atmosphere. Huge lay offs that affected senior employees but not new hires. Very political environment. Leadership is new to leadership positions and still learning how to manage. Asks a lot of employees for very little compensation and rewards. Plays on humanity of employees as empathetic to restaurants and squeezes employee efforts dry.
