      Pros

      They offer great pay. They offer great benefits.

      Cons

      -Poor product -Not sure what the engineers do to test the software before it's released because each realease is buggy. -Tons of server/offline issues for a company that prides itself on cloud computing. -Lack of ethics(i.e. The untruth$ they pitch to their lead$/customer$)

      The Toasty rocket ship

      Pros

      The culture. Because Toast is growing fast (65 people in our latest orientation class) there's A LOT of new employees here. And everyone still smiles at you in the halls and is more than happy to help you any way they can. The leadership team is very approachable and genuinely cares. Because of the huge growth in the company, there is seemingly uncapped opportunity to grow professionally. I've seen promotions and internal transfers happen all the time. People are FUN and have a sense of humor. They're also really passionate about the product and how we help our customers.

      Cons

      Make no mistake - Toast is not a place you can "nest". Everyone has high expectations of each other. The people that i've seen not be successful at Toast are: a) not willing to go above and beyond (treat this like "just a job") or b) not great team players. If i had to guess, a lot of the recent negative reviews are from individuals who were not willing to go all in and hop on this rocket ship. You're not just "working" here - you're actively solving problems that build this company.
