      Turned me into "Toast"

      Pros

      Pay was good, and there were a lot of good people employed there.

      Cons

      At the time, the product had a lot of technical issues that could be difficult to mitigate for many users, and the fact that the customers are restaurants, you could expect nights and weekends to be when you get the escalations because their system is down. That could be stressful. Also, the commute was horrible, being in the middle of Boston and they wanted people to be in the office instead of remote if they lived in the area, though they had people located in numerous states, so many were always remote.

      Great Tech Company to work for however, Ever-changing Metrics

      Pros

      - Fun, hip company - Great training - Always incentives to stay longer (after work yoga, happy hours, numerous clubs etc)

      Cons

      - Metrics kept changing based on company need (typical with start-ups) - Frat/college vibe - Income is not as competitive

      Stressed to the max. Monthly quotas, very cut throat.

      Pros

      You do well, you get paid well.

      Cons

      The stress and pressure is NOT worth it. Constant micro managing, and quota starts over every month. Threats every few weeks, remember if you don't hit quota there are disciplinary measures. Very negative, fear based environment instead of encouraging. You need to sign 4-5 deals a month, which is an insane target for the investment business owners are needing to make.
