      Could be worse

      Pros

      Can work remotely, at least for now. Pretty modern tech stack. Opportunities to learn more. Good work balance and people tend to care.

      Cons

      Compensation could be a bit better. Some benefits got slashed. Cross-Team issues while planning, and culture has declined a fair amount.

      * Culture in the org is not good * Teams are siloed * No clear direction * Tools/tech not interesting * Strong top down approach with little to no bottom up * Micromanaging * Impossible to get any work done * Work life balance is dredful * Management is patronising/condescending

      Great place to grow as software engineer

      Pros

      They use distributed systems and microservices, so you get to learn a lot about working in big systems. I really like my eng manager and the culture as a whole is great here. Everyone is kind, super smart, and hardworking. Premium benefits and perks. REAL unlimited PTO. Remote.

      Typical cons that would come with working at a large company.
