Money over safety

Pros

Lots of travel, and associated points. The work is interesting and challenging.

Cons

They're only using temps, and depending on your agency, you'll get no PTO, no retirement benefits, and a load of bureaucratic headaches. They threw safety out the window to get TSMC's business. Despite constant complaints from field engineers, and almost daily safety incidents, management refuses to acknowledge the most dangerous site in the country.

Pros

Stable job security. Straightforward work culture. Focus on safety

Cons

Low raises, a significant portion of yearly pay is based on highly variable bonuses. Bonus sums have plummeted over the last couple years.
