Pros

Community - There is a kind community within the company. PTO- Taking time off was really easy as long as you gave notice, during my stay here I took off three weeks almost in a row and it was not a problem. The work life balance (if you don't work in etch) is relatively good for the semiconductor industry. But managers will let you work as hard as you are willing to work so set boundries.

Cons

Pay The company is not very transparent about pay, if you're there for more than a couple of years someone will be hired on at a higher rate with less experience. I don't think this is a problem for TEL, however it is very frustrating when someone is hired on at 15% more with less experience. "implied hours" If you can say no you'll be okay, but if you let the Japanese work culture affect when you go home you could be in for a very long day. Career opportunities- They exist, but not many in when writing this review. Also, the managers do not seem to be aligned with promoting from within and it's a very uncomfortable process to apply internally.
