Toxic work culture

Pros

- Great product. - Good Pay

Cons

The culture is toxic. Micromanagement at various level. Managers expects you to work 24/7 and sometimes even on weekends. Work life balance is very very poor. HR is a joke here, even if you give feedback, never seen any action taken on it or any meeting scheduled to understand whats going wrong. 1:1 is also a joke here too, managers never want to understand your future growth and how you are doing in the company professionally and personally. It's all filled with blame games and what you didn't do because you were sick. They did grew 700x in revenue which allowed them to hire resources rapidly but never cared about the current employees and their well being. A lot of stress in work. Also quality work is missing sometimes, they want to enhance technical stack but then loose their focus on fixing current environment. So if you are joining this company beware of these risk, read all the comments and decide if money is important to you or your peace of mind, family and your professional growth in future.

Pros

Great product with passionate customers.

Cons

Inexperienced people promoted way too quickly to people managers, mostly due to rampant favoritism and white male privilege An insane amount of meetings. If you want to be on zoom 8 hours a day and only get meaningful work done on your own time, this is the place for you. CEO is in WAY over his head, he is smart, but has no business being a CEO at this stage of the company. He should go back to being an engineer. Crazy amount of pressure and constant fire drills when sales are down. Not a scalable way to work and retain employees Marketing has become way too layered, with a ton of emphasis on hiring Sr. leadership from big fancy companies versus investing in their core employees. Additionally working w celeb athletes and investing way too heavily. Due to this, layoffs are a very real possibility
