Pros

Topstep (newly rebranded) is an exceptional place to work. As a Chicago startup, it brings a great mix of an innovative and inclusive culture, generous benefits, meaningful work, and the potential to grow with an expanding company. Top Pros: -Potential for flexible work schedule/hours -Management that genuinely cares about the health, well-being, and professional development of their employees -Unique and ever-expanding company benefits -Room to grow with the company -Tight-knit but still welcoming culture -Entire organization is constantly looking for feedback, to improve internal and external processes and systems alike -Whole CSR team is very friendly and willing to help each other in any situation -Easy to collaborate across departments when needed as everyone is flexible and willing to help each other

Cons

-Daily work can feel repetitive (however that's most customer service roles IMO) -It is a meeting heavy culture which I enjoy, but it can disrupt your workflow -Pay is standard for the position

Pros

This company has truly been a dream to work for. From the executive team to my direct manager, leadership is transparent, genuine, and mindful. We have monthly company meetings, every department has monthly lunch with the CEO, and monthly one-on-ones with managers. Our professional growth is prioritized. Everyone has a budget to use as they wish to develop their career - for example, some people use this on improv classes, cooking classes, Ted Talks, etc. To say we have fun is an understatement. There's something exciting happening in the office at least once a week. Some of the extracurricular activities our team has done together include: - Bringing a petting zoo to the office - Bringing puppies to the office - Go-kart racing - Icecream crawl - Softball league - Bocce ball league - Paddleboarding - Rock climbing - Wine tasting - Adler After Dark - Yo-Yo Ma concert - Kayaking - Boxing class - Yoga class - Endless lunches out - Endless catered lunches in I don't think this is even a dent.

Cons

We are always working on a lot at once. This team is very driven, and we're always working towards the next big thing. Sometimes the work and meeting load is heavy, but the days go by quick when you're busy. At the end of the day, we do meaningful work and it's all worth it.
