Pros

people are kind and willing to help each other

Cons

-outdated tools that make it hard to accomplish daily tasks and larger initiatives -micromanagement -rigid processes for approvals that take multiple rounds of feedback and extend the turnaround time (execution time is not always extended which puts pressure on teams executing) -Leadership is too focused on brand image, which can interfere with trying new ideas/concepts that could help the company. this often leads to teams doing the same things and wondering why we aren't seeing improvement -company tends to hire a lot of consultants into leadership roles that don't always have the right experience, which leads to challenges with understanding normal industry practices/standards and having uninformed expectations

Pros

Tory Burch used to have a strong, positive culture that truly valued its employees. The brand itself is amazing, and working for such a prestigious company was initially rewarding. I had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented individuals at all levels,

Cons

The new senior leadership brought in last year has completely derailed the company culture. Talented employees are leaving in waves due to toxic management practices, particularly from new district managers and store directors. Instead of addressing senior leadership issues, the company is focusing on replacing GMs, which is only causing further instability. The once strong and supportive work environment has turned into one where morale is low and turnover is high. The GM’s that aren’t being forced out, are leaving on their own. There are so many open GM positions country wide. Big red flag.

Pros

Discount, insurance, PTO, and pay. I was getting paid $23/hr plus commission for a key holder. Know your worth! There were other key holders making high 20’s

Cons

All depends on your manager. Our manager was scatter brained, took things personally, and gave the silent treatment if you weren’t doing well. People would bring their personal problems to work and sit in the back without supporting the sales floor or getting other tasks done. When I wanted to stay with the company but only a couple days a week it was a no go but they would allow other employees only work 1 day a week if that. I really wanted to move up with the company and be in corporate. Not once was it talked about or the steps given to achieve that. Constantly texted during my days off or vacation on work problems or how to do something when I wasn’t even the store manager
