Thanks! I love that you think we still have a start-up feel. As a 25-year-old company, that is a non-trivial achievement. While we aren't a big company, we aren't small either and have been in business for a long time. I think the way we keep that start-up vibe is to be super-focused on innovating for our customers and trying to move as quickly as possible. On compensation, we strive to be at market for our rewards. We track that on an ongoing basis and make adjustments as needed. We encourage all our employees to engage with us if they feel there is still a gap.

Pros

- Friendly coworkers - Amazing learning opportunities for curious developers - Interesting products and tech stack

Cons

- When faced with a choice between an effective solution and an easy one, the easy option is always chosen, which leads to more tech debt later down the line. - Double standards around RTO policy - Problems are routinely ignored in favor of 'fast delivery' that never pays off - Lessons learned from technical incidents are never the correct lessons - High pressure from POs and leadership team - Some teams are completely resource starved - Knowledge transfers and documentation are lacking, which leads to over-dependence on specific individuals.

Pros

People are nice, projects are interesting, salary is competitive with annual bonus, nice perks

Cons

They ask to come to office at least 2 days a week, even though everyone agrees that working from home is more productive
