      Pros

      - CEO that understand how to delegate - Leadership is happy to let you take vacation time whenever you need it - You get to decide and control your role - most work is self-directed - It's super fun and rewarding - you get to see how everything you do impacts the business - The team is tightly knit - Everyone should work at a business built around food. Food is amazing.

      Cons

      - Small team, so it can be a little hard to disappear into the shadows - Everyone is really busy, so most work still gets done by individuals instead of teams

      Pros

      The ability to work remote is a great plus for me. I am able to balance my work and home life. The company as a whole always for their employees to have a great work /life balance. Part of joining the company I received a free Tovala oven, and discounted Tovala meals. & yea, the food is delicious! Tovala is still in the start- up phase and is making strategic moves to insure the stability of the company. The leadership team is transparent, especially the Co-Founder, David. David sends weekly emails to keep everyone up to date and informed.

      Cons

      The starting pay was a bit lower then I expected. since I am remote, my salary is based on the country average. I believe the compensation should be based on location and experience.

      Pros

      You may hear that a company has an amazing group of people working for them, and that doesn't always turn out to be the case. For Tovala, it is 100% true! The people here are amazing, welcoming and incredibly smart. My onboarding experience has been amazing and the team here really believes in the product and cross collaboration.
