Fun work

Pros

Fun work, relaxed office environment, good amount of pto, travel around the country, on the clock during travel time. Contrary to previous review you are compensated with time and a half pay for overtime which is standard and with all of the travel you can clock 55+ hours when you’re only hard at work for 30 hours(25+ being drive time, upload time in hotel and fly time), management is considerate of your personal life and will be accommodating if you’re a good worker. Good amount of travel points make taking vacations more doable.

Cons

Not great pay but with the OT you can make a decent amount of money.

Pros

No dress code Good PTO for entry level

Cons

Unreal expectations Massive work load Ridiculous travel (3+ states a week, sometimes several flights) Long hours (easily 55+ a week) Lack of leadership People in management position are “do as I say, not as I do” kind of people People in leadership positions have no fore-site Do not care about employees, only care about making money Company cars are a joke (ex. 2001 Toyota mini van) and frequently break down)

Pros

Lots of Travel and alot of places to visit Racking up of airline miles in personal credit card Good people to work around Pushing mental barriers Laid back environment

Cons

This industry is not for everyone. Please make sure you know what you are getting into before applying. Climbing towers is not a joke and also this company has no work life balance or sense of prior planning. You get paid the minimum as an engineer and expected to work around 60 hours ( including travel time) a week. It can be great if you like being on roads and getting dirty but it is not a typical engineering job .

Tower Engineering Response

Tower Engineering Professionals is not a typical engineering job, but we think that is what makes the company special. Our company is best for people who don't want to sit behind a desk all day, and who have a bit of an adventurous side. It is a great place to learn and grow.
