Pros

You will meet the most wonderful, funny, caring people at this job! Most mangers are super easy with flexibility (they understand stuff happens and you may need to leave for a hour or so) Remote working who doesn't love WFH?

Cons

Micromanagement - a manager will be over your shoulder every other hour asking about your work Poor leadership- I honestly have no idea what they're trying to do. Everything and everyone is a mess and I don't see them being able to clean it up anytime soon. They will also tell you with a smile on your face how well you are doing then: Not give you a raise, give you a very poor raise, or give you no bonus. BUT if you're halfway out the door then money is no longer an issue. Lack of communication - they use to preach open communication then a thousand changes happened all at once and you'd receive the same bs reply on why it was happening... it never helped it only made things worse. Limited room for growth, and if you do want to grow the options aren't that appeasing. Long hours- you could end up working until midnight some days and there would be little to no help Understaffed- you can be drowning in work and you still wouldn't ask for help because your co-workers are also drowning. HUGE pay discrepancies - with most companies they will discourage you speaking about your salary.. as we all know that is an old and tired rule and only in place so management won't have any issues and can underpay employees. Starting salary for the same position can vary up to 25k easily. Positions - there is no difference between the job titles of DCMs, its all the same work with a disgusting pay gap.

Pros

The work hours are alright, 9:30-6:30 for most of the people. CS team is great, there are many conflicts with other cross-functional departments (Buying, D&A, CM) as nobody wants to actually take the initiative to get something completed so that delays a lot. pre-COVID there was WFH Fridays but management hated it, there were conflicting issues between NYC and Charlotte.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for growth. Too many management layers. Hard to actually get the teams together for fun and a break from the office. Lots of favoritism from management, especially this guy Timothy who thinks he knows media but does not so he relies on the management layers below him. If a woman they like you more, not the case for men. Lots of work, the team is spread very thin. Way too many emails that just create swirl. Very few systems talk to one other. Computer equipment is handed down and no local IT support, cheap! Management loves to micromanage, so much so that you get a Slack if not at your desk by 9:31am. The office has the worst lighting, terribly paint and there is always something wrong with the thermostat. Decent benefits, other companies have much much better offerings. 401k match is a joke! Medical can be costly. No sick days, no rollover, 100% bonus attainment never happens and Management changes the structure.
