Basically everything else… pay isn’t competitive industry wide, and you’re asked to be a BDR, Account Executive, Account Manager, and strategist all in one role while being very under paid and under appreciated. Some middle managers seem to care but nothing is ever done to change things for the better, which means upper management doesn’t care at all. You’ll be treated like a child, despite being told it’s a “senior” role. EXTREMELY MICRO MANAGING COMPANY! Forced to work in a grungy office in a cube that has leaks, air conditioning fails all the time, and is rarely cleaned. They do this so they can keep an eye on you, and we’ve been told they don’t trust us to work remotely (which makes zero sense). You get absolutely no flexibility unless you’re best friends with members of the management team. If you’re not, good luck. The advertising services are not at all what they are positioned to be- it’s a high margin grab at the expense of small businesses with no intention of getting them results. Performance based retention only works if you perform… which is why they keep having to increase minimums and lengthen contracts. Just not a good place to work unless you want to be drained of all your optimism.
