Pros

A company that is world wide known. Everybody wants to be a "Toys-R-Us" kid sometimes.

Cons

Do not believe everything that is said before a full investigation is done

Pros

Many caring people in distribution and in the stores. Great power units, lots of opportunity to perform to the best of your ability and be rewarded for your performance.

Cons

Lots of communication problems from every direction. Trailers so outdated if they were inspected on the road many would be out of service. So the solution is to completely do away with the transportation department and outsource to another company and even though Toys folks were given the chance at a job with the new company they were drastically downsized in pay and benefits. All were told make a choice in 7 days or take your severance! Most had 3+ years all the way to 20+ years and were valued assets even as they were told the news.

Pros

You get comp days based on your hours of work. They do have excellent benefits, good equipment to drive.Once you learn where all the stores are it is real easy work, unless you have to pull doubles.

Cons

Poor management, lack of input into easier ways to do your job
