Pros

Nothing to say about this company ...

Cons

A lot to say... consider only if you need to survive; otherwise, don't think about them.

Pros

SOME people are good to work with possibility to learn ios android web metro pass free soft drinks

Cons

Clicks: you know the the cool guys that always ONLY eat together then go play fifa. makes for slightly toxic environment. interview lies part 1: code coverage, fully covered....reality is not even a tenth ... and that they believe unit test are important.(really?!?!) interview lies part 2: believe in clean coding practices...hummm NOPE. interns do not write clean code, so that what you end up with. code reviews by senior devs often very shallow / useless. culture and values are good on paper but do not exist much in reality. high turnover. snack cupboard empty for days or just has crappy snacks.

Pros

I'll be frank about my feelings as a Software Enginner at TradeRev. If you are a kind of person who is eager to learn new technologies, to try out new language or a tool as soon as its out, this is a place for you. They believe in using the latest and are open to hearing your opinion about a new tool/service you want you use. - Super helpful CEO and CTO. - Since it is in transitioning phase from startup to becoming a medium size company, you get to experience the transition. If you are remotely interested in Entrepreneurship, this will be a great learning experience around a growing product. - Helpful, humble and fun co-workers and managers. It reminds me of a line from Harry Potter movie: "Help will always be given to those who ask for it". - Open working environment. - Flixible hours and good location (near Shappard TTC). Getting metropasses from work is kind of nice. - Games room to relax is kind of nice, when you get tired to coding and need a change or time to think. - Your opinions do matter, whether about a new feature you think will be great, or anything you want to improve about work place. They have good feedback system.

Cons

- Company was a startup and is growing fast. There are some pain points to be dealt at managerial level. But hey, no matter whereever you go there will be some issues. One can choose to come forward to help fix/improve them or can just get away from it. - 2 weeks vacation only is kind of :-|. 3 weeks would have been much better frankly. However since they believe that their team should be updated with latest technology, they take devs to conferences as well. So the extra week vacation gets kind of covered.

We enjoy having you as a part of our team as well and thank you for taking the time to write a review. We definitely agree with you on the :-| 2 weeks vacation, and from that, we announced at our last quarterly meeting that we will now be offering 3 weeks of paid vacation. Thanks for the feedback!
