Pros

Established company in the financial services industry. Legitimately a solid brokerage with a small-company feel. It will satisfy any appetite for challenging work. The technology team is great, but is saddled with a lot of technical debt from short-sighted decisions over decades.

Cons

Business and product management struggle to focus on anything for longer than 3 months. The management style is heavily ego-driven without a focus on objective indicators or outcomes. Some managers are great leaders, while others are empty suits who are insecure and driven by fear. Executives are too focused on projects and not products. Unable to plan beyond 3 months in advance. People are nice, but silos are pretty well established and prioritization across teams is impossible without heavy-handed management involvement.

Pros

Nice and friendly people work here. Management is decent. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Beginners usually end up working later hours but that's only until you get seniority
