      Pros

      Great pay and benefits for retail. There is an excellent retirement plan. It can be very fun, although, it had better be fun, or heads will roll!

      Cons

      Incredibly demanding physically and demanding of your time and energy. The job is still changing and the skills that made a successful manager several years ago are less important now.

      Pros

      Some of the pros are friendly management, friendly co-workers, casual dress code, benefits vision, dental and vision and flexible scheduling.

      Cons

      Your on your feet all day and sometimes have to deal with rude/weird customers. Working the register is a pain

      Pros

      Trader Joes is recession proof. No matter the state of the economy .... Trader Joes excels. As a matter of fact, a bad economy only helps Trader Joes ... as customers are watching their pennies and looking for a great value for their money. If you work hard, you will get paid accordingly. Some current and former crew members say management has "favorites". The people complaining about this are usually the slackers, with attitude problems, who just don't care and try to get by by doing the minimum. Like I said, work hard and you will be a "favorite". Like it should be.

      Cons

      Physically demanding. So if you are out of shape and do not like hard work, please apply somewhere else.
