Business Outlook
Pros
Very good job security for core hourly. Pay is almost competitive. Straight days work schedule. Pretty flexible with time off. Great coworkers for the most part.
Cons
Benefits have deteriorated in past years. Company is always trying to do more with less. Expects more work with less people makes work/life balance impossible. They will work you until you are broken and discard you during peak months. No trust in upper mgmt. IR is totally out of touch with manufacturing floor. To satisfy one corporate metric they will crash many other corporate metrics. If they valued employees and payed them better, quality and morale would go up.
